Anyone who has a sister knows that it’s a very special relationship, right from the start. I know that this can be true of any sibling relationship or even a close relationship with a friend, but coming from a family where I have a sister, I am a little bias 🙂 Also- as a side note, I love my brother a lot too!
Any time I get the chance to photograph siblings in my studio, it makes my day! This sister lifestyle photography shoot with the Carter girls, Kaeleen (5) and Taegen (2) was special for a few different reasons.
- They are adorable. Evidence below.
- I grew up with their dad and it’s basically out-of-this-world crazy to be photographing his daughters! On that note….life goes by too fast, don’t you think?
- This sister lifestyle photography shoot got me even more excited about my Valentine Day Mini’s! More on that below 🙂
This shoot happened in my New Bedford studio and I made sure to have the backdrops decked out to amplify all the cuteness these two brought. Kaeleen and Taegen took a few minutes to warm up to the camera, but once they did, it was game on! In fact, at the end of the session Kaeleen said she had so much fun she wanted to book her spring photos!
This sister lifestyle photography shoot was full of tutus, hugs, balloons, jumps and, of course, smiles and laughter. I loved how their pale purple color palette stood out against the muted backdrop of flowers and hearts. The colors worked well and didn’t compete to steal the show, leaving Kaeleen and Taegen’s personality front and center. The result? Pics their parents can cherish for a lifetime.
