If every wedding could be an autumn wedding in the Northeast, I would be in heaven! Seriously. The colors. The crisp air. The flowers. I love it all! After viewing this fall wedding photography highlighting Steven and Jennifer, you’ll see why!
I met Jen through a mutual friend and I’m so glad I did. She and Steven were such a pleasant couple to work with and it was very clear that their top objective was to get married and enjoy the day as much as possible. When love is leading the way, this happens pretty easily.
Jen and Steven were married in Fairhaven, MA at St. Josephs Parish. This was such a beautiful facility, and its deep wood tones and stained glass fit in perfectly with this fall wedding. It all felt rather nostalgic.
There are so many special moments when it comes to a wedding ceremony, but I would say the highlight of Jen and Steven’s was watching Jen’s two sons walk her down the aisle. I don’t think there was a person in that church who was not smiling ear to ear at that moment. What an awesome memory for those boys! They looked so proud!
After the ceremony, we relocated to Fairhaven High School and Fort Phoenix State Reservation for some more pictures with just Steven, Jen and her boys. This was a beautiful spot for some photos of the happy couple and their family, especially with the Buzzard’s Bay beachfront as our backdrop. The solo pic of Jen took my breath away when I started editing!
The boys might have stolen the show when they walked their mom down the aisle, but Steven definitely wasn’t upstaged at Fort Phoenix. This is where he surprised Jenn with a second ring and boy, was she excited! That was a really sweet surprise and I am, of course, happy I caught it on camera.
Here’s to many years of wedded bliss together, Steven and Jen! Thanks for including me in your day!
